Celebrating Earth Month: Growing Together
When it comes to sustainability and making a positive impact on our planet, it can feel like one person’s actions doesn’t have enough impact to drive meaningful improvement. Luckily, you belong to a big community of people working toward change. Together, we can join forces and make a difference.

NEW TOOL RECYCLING PROGRAM
Recycle your old, worn-out tools. We’re scaling up our recycling partnership with Homeboy Industries, a non-profit organization that recycles unwanted electronics through their social enterprise—Homeboy Electronics Recycling—while employing individuals who face systematic barriers to work. Our 2023 goal is to recycle an estimated 6 tons or 12,000 pounds of old tools to keep them out of landfills, while promoting work for previously incarcerated people. US
We’re taking responsibility for making positive change.
OFFSETTING OUR CARBON EMISSIONS
We’re offsetting emissions from all the products we ship out of our U.S. distribution center, plus we’re offsetting the emissions of our employee commutes and flights to ensure their business travels are climate neutral.**

SPICE INITIATIVE
We’ve joined the Sustainable Packaging Initiative for Cosmetics (SPICE), which brings together industry peers to drive the future of sustainable packaging. We’re decreasing our virgin plastic use by transitioning to post-consumer recycled (PCR) packaging, redesigning product caps, and eliminating plastic bags for retail use and single-dose packaging in our hospitality business.
CARBON NEUTRAL COMMITMENTS
We’re measuring, reducing and offsetting our emissions, and are committed to reaching Climate Neutrality by 2050. We are proud to work with TerraPass™ to Reduce Emissions from Deforestation, or (REDD+.)
What is a carbon offset? A quality carbon offset like REDD+ projects mitigate emissions by reducing, avoiding, or removing carbon from the atmosphere while presenting co-benefits such as improving livelihoods, conserving biodiversity and contributing to a host of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. While carbon offsets are a good step in the right direction, our long-term strategy will be to be decarbonize our business where possible.
