Paul Mitchell® Co-founder and CEO John Paul DeJoria is famous for saying "success unshared is failure," and that mantra inspires many of the things we do as an organization. Recently, we launched the #GivingIsMyStyle campaign in an effort to support some of our favorite non-profits and encourage our global family to get involved.
We’re asking our fans and followers to share how or why they give back with #GivingIsMyStyle on Instagram and Twitter, and since launching the campaign, we’ve received an outpouring of charitable posts. From free haircuts to monetary donations, we couldn’t be more proud to hear and see all of the amazing ways our fans and followers give back. To us, that is the epitome of sharing success.
For those of you who have supported the campaign by tagging your tweets and Instagram posts with #GivingIsMyStyle, we’ve donated $1 on your behalf to one of these charities to help them thrive:
Boys and Girls Club helps young people reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Bright Pink is the only national non-profit organization that focuses on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women.
Grow Appalachia is a non-profit initiative that helps Appalachian families plant a healthy future.
Reforest’Action is an environmental organization that plants trees worldwide, in the areas where they're needed most.
Waterkeeper Alliance protects rivers, streams, coastlines and other major waterways around the world.
Morris Animal Foundation is a global leader in supporting scientific research that advances veterinary medicine
With that said, keep the #GivingIsMyStyle tweets and posts coming! Our goal is to donate a total of $200,000, and with your help, we can make it happen!
