How To: Make Your Blow-Out Last

How To: Make Your Blow-Out Last

Jun 8th 2016

Whether you visit the salon routinely to have your hair blown out or you DIY it with your collection of Pro Tools™, we know that preserving your blow-out is a must. If you’ve struggled to find the right routine to make your blowout last, fret not; we have tips and product recommendations to make your gorgeous look last and last!

Day 1

Blowout day with your Paul Mitchell® stylist! Is there anything better than the just-left-the-salon feeling?

Day 2-3

Your blowout is holding up well, but your locks need to be refreshed. Apply Dry Wash® to your roots to absorb excess oil and give your hair volume. Then apply Awapuhi Wild Ginger® Shine Spray™ to your lengths to revive shine and brilliance.

Day 4

Your perfect style has now transformed into a lived-in look. To revive your polished blowout, lightly spritz your hair with water and use a blow dryer and round brush to smooth hair and polish the ends. Use Awapuhi Wild Ginger® Styling Treatment Oil® from the mid-length of your hair to the ends for additional shine.

Day 5

Time to pull out the curling iron! Use a large barrel curling iron to curl the ends of your hair. Gently brush out the curls, apply Dry Wash® to your roots and finish with a dose of Worked Up® to keep everything in place with a touchable hold.

Day 6-7

Time to wash! Cleanse your hair with the shampoo and conditioner that is right for your hair type or see your stylist for a decadent Wash House experience followed by your next blow-out!

Voila! You made your blowout last and never sacrificed style.
