How would you describe your style?
I love hair styles that are simple and chic. I am all about looks that are quick and easy, and can last all day!
What are your favorite Paul Mitchell® products and/or tools?
One of my favorites is the Neuro® Unclipped 3-in-1. This is seriously the coolest curling iron ever and it works so well! The other product I love to use after I curl my hair is the Awapuhi Wild Ginger® Texturizing Sea Spray®, which helps texturize the curls and make them look more natural.
What is the craziest/most fun thing you have ever done to your hair?
I love easy, fun looks I can do to my hair that aren't too crazy, but add character to my style. I have a pink hair chalk that I love to use when I'm feeling a little edgy, and when I'm done with the look, I can just wash it out and I'm back to my normal hair color!
What’s the best thing about having a blog with your sister? Did you expect the kind of success that you are having with it?
We’re doing something we love, and we get to do it with each other! We were always doing these things before we officially started the blog, so this just gives us a way to share our passion with more people and have an excuse to spend even more time with each other!
What’s your favorite celeb hairstyle at the moment?
The celeb who I tend to pin the most is Blake Lively. She always seems to have flawless hair that looks effortless. She has the loose beachy curls that I love, and she knows how to fancy it up when the time calls for it.
What’s the best hair advice you’ve ever received?
When I was 12 years old, my older sister showed me a hair trick that saves time and is a super easy way to curl my hair in minutes. Instead of curling your hair right side up, flip your head down and curl your hair upside down. It sounds weird, but it works and it seriously saves so much time and looks just as good!
What’s your go-to hairstyle?
This is one of my favorite hairstyles, and it’s simple and easy to do using the Neuro Unclipped 3-in-1. I start off with Hot Off The Press® and finish the look with the Awapuhi Wild Ginger Texturizing Sea Spray to add a little texture.
