Earlier this week, New York transplants and Los Angeles designers Brian Wolk and Claude Morais of Wolk Morais presented their second collection at The French Marketplace╌a LA institution and ideal backdrop for their beatnik-1960s-coffee-shop inspired collection. Alongside a team of beauty and fashion industry pros, including MAC Cosmetics makeup artists and celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart, our Awapuhi Wild Ginger® styling team created a glamorous runway look with a hint of rebellion. Lead hairstylist Angelina Panelli described the hair as airy and effortless with a hint of counterculture to lend to the underlying rockabilly, "60s vibe.
