Start by detangling dry hair using the Detangler Comb.

Determine the type of curl you would like to achieve by choosing the appropriate rod size:

• .75" small styling cone for ringlets
• 1" styling rod for loose waves
• 1.25" styling cone for natural-looking curls

For curls from scalp to ends, place the base of the iron close to the head and begin wrapping a section of hair around it. If you want to curl half the strand, begin wrapping at mid-length.

Wrap the hair OVER the barrel for more wave, or UNDER the barrel for more bounce and lift.

For best results, prep hair with heat protectant like Paul Mitchell^® Hot Off The Press^® Thermal Protection Hairspray.

For a tousled, loose look, brush through curls using the 413 Sculpting Brush for full, bouncy curls.
