Trees and Forests are Critical

They help prevent biodiversity collapse, address issues like droughts and fires, and improve the air we breathe.

Our Commitment

We are pleased to announce that, with your help, Tea Tree and Reforest’Action have met our goal of planting one million trees, which is expected to remove 150,000 metric tons of CO2 from the atmosphere during their lifetime.

We are committed to increasing the scale of our tree planting efforts by pledging to plant another one million trees with Reforest’Action, bringing our total to two million trees by the end of 2030.

Our Tea Tree brand has also joined 1t.org, a global tree planting movement from the World Economic Forum that aims to mobilize the global reforestation community and empower them to conserve, restore and grow one trillion trees by 2030.

We plan to plant an average of 125,000 trees per year until the end of 2030. This will span a variety of different regions with diverse ecosystems including rainforests, mangroves and peatlands. Our planting sites will be chosen annually based on global need, and we will publish updates on our progress as we continue this tree-planting journey.

The Benefits

By joining 1t.org, we are helping to accelerate nature-based solutions in support of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030).

Healing the Earth, Helping People

– UK –

In order to restore the forest in the UK, Reforest'Action has plans to introduce tens of thousands of trees to ensure the renewal of the forest ecosystem and biodiversity. This project is projected to provide 58,455 shelters for animals and create 19,485 hours of employment for local workers.

– Peru –

Reforest'Action works closely with a local research institute in Peru to empower farmers to use their ancestral knowledge to help cultivate new tree growth. They have chosen to plant a variety of trees including lemon, mango and cocoa that will enable them to produce fruit for their personal use or for local trade.

– Germany –

In Germany, Reforest'Action is committed to planting a variety of species intended to make the massif more resilient and better adapted to potential climatic hazards. This project will provide fruit, fodder, wood, resins and tanner that will bring many benefits to the local communities.
