John Paul Mitchell Systems® (JPMS) online orders ship to the Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories. Online orders are shipped and delivered on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays). Below are the shipping options available for your package. Please note that orders are shipped from our Los Angeles fulfillment center when selecting the option that best suits your delivery needs during Checkout.

Must select 2nd Day or Priority Overnight.
The shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
JPMS Processing Time
Orders submitted by 11am PT are typically processed for shipment in 1 to 2 business days. Orders received after 11am PT are processed the following business day.
All orders containing Hazardous Materials have restrictions. See below for details.
Certain items in your order may be considered Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT). Hazardous Materials are as follows: aerosol items, some alcohol-based items, items that contain contents under pressure, and others (e.g., hairspray and items containing flammable, volatile or corrosive chemicals). The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) requires ground-only shipment of Hazardous Materials due to air shipment restrictions and regulations. Therefore, these items cannot be shipped to all addresses.
All orders containing Hazardous Materials must be shipped via Standard Ground Shipping and cannot be shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air. All orders containing Hazardous Materials can only be shipped to addresses within the Continental U.S. and cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. Territories.
We are currently unable to accept orders to be billed or shipped to PO/APO/FPO Boxes. If you have entered these addresses, we will contact you for an alternative address, which may delay your delivery.
FREE Shipping Promotion
Orders qualifying for our everyday FREE shipping promotion are shipped via our Standard Ground Shipping service only. FREE shipping is available in the Continental U.S. only, and excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. Territories, as well as for oversized packages.
All orders $150+ require a signature upon receipt to ensure packages are delivered safely.
We are currently unable to accept orders to be billed or shipped to destinations outside the U.S. We apologize for any inconvenience.
John Paul Mitchell Systems is dedicated to providing you the best customer experience possible. You may return most new, unused and unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Only products purchased on JPMS online may be returned for refund.
Time Limit on Returns
Products must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date to receive a refund to the payment method used to purchase. Store credit will be issued for returns granted after 30 days of delivery when product is returned to the processing center.
Returning Free Products/Gift with Purchase
You may keep the free gift with purchase that you received as a part of your order.
Refunding Shipping Fee
JPMS will pay the return shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item). JPMS does not accept CODs for returned merchandise. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Refund Processing Time
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
