John Paul Mitchell Systems® (JPMS) online orders ship to the Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories. Orders submitted by 11am PT are typically processed within 2 business days (M-F, excluding major holidays). Please factor in this processing time when selecting a shipping method. Please check the FedEx website for delivery days in your area.

Below are the shipping options available for your package. Please note that orders are shipped from our Los Angeles fulfillment center when selecting the option that best suits your delivery needs during Checkout.

FedEx Standard Ground Shipping

Available for shipments only within the Continental U.S. and U.S. Territories. This shipping method is the only shipping method available for shipments to U.S. Territories.

All Other Shipping Methods

Available for shipments to Continental U.S., Alaska and Hawaii addresses only.

Alaska and Hawaii

Must select 2nd Day or Priority Overnight.

Rates

The shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based and vary by destination. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Hazardous Materials

Certain items in your order may be considered Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT). Hazardous Materials are as follows: aerosol items, some alcohol-based items, items that contain contents under pressure, and others (e.g., hairspray and items containing flammable, volatile or corrosive chemicals). All orders containing Hazardous Materials have shipping restrictions. Only 2nd Day and Overnight options are available for orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and the U.S Territories. We cannot ship ground to these destinations.

PO/APO/FPO Boxes

We are currently unable to accept orders to be billed or shipped to PO/APO/FPO Boxes. If you have entered these addresses, we will contact you for an alternative address, which may delay your delivery.

FREE Shipping Promotion

Orders qualifying for our everyday FREE shipping promotion are shipped via our Standard Ground Shipping service only. FREE shipping is available in the Continental U.S. only, and excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. Territories, as well as for oversized packages.

International

We are currently unable to accept orders to be billed or shipped to destinations outside the U.S. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Cancellations

Upon request, orders can be cancelled before they're processed in the warehouse. Once the order is processed, customer will need to ship it back to JPMS for a refund.

Return Policy

JPMS is dedicated to providing you the best customer experience possible. Only products purchased on JPMS online may be returned for refund.

Time Limit on Returns

You may return most new, unused and unopened items within 30 days of the delivery date to receive a refund to the payment method used to purchase. Store credit will be issued for returns granted after 30 days of delivery when product is returned to the processing center.

Returning Free Products/Gift with Purchase

You may keep the free gift with purchase that you received as a part of your order.

Refunding Shipping Fee

JPMS will pay the return shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item). JPMS does not accept CODs for returned merchandise. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Returning Your Order by Mail**

Mail your return with the packing slip to the below address. It is recommended to use a traceable shipping method via UPS, FEDEX or USPS. JPMS is not responsible for returns that are lost or missing in transit.

Refund Processing Time

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
